Last Swap

Well...maybe I should say "latest" swap because for some reason I can't stop signing up for them. This is the last swap in the last bunch of swaps that I signed up for. I'm trying to stay away from the Swaps forum on SCS for a while because I always manage to find at least one to join. Anyway, this was a swap using any stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs. I was actually invited to participate in this one, and I just couldn't say no. Whipper Snapper is one of my favorite stamp companies. Their designs are so cute and provide plenty of room for coloring. They're great for the Gamsol Magic technique using the Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits...my favorite medium.

I chose the "Hog Wash" stamp for this one, as it's one of my favorites. Who doesn't love little piggies in a tub, huh? They look so happy!


The "Happy Anniversary" stamp is one of the $1 Michaels stamps. The colors are SU's Elegant Eggplant and Rose Romance (both retired colors). I punched the hearts using the Creative Memories heart punch. There is a little bit of sparkle to the bubbles, but you can't see it in the pic. I drew the black lines around the outer edge of the main image using sketchy lines to match the print of the sentiment. As far as the patterned paper...I have no idea. It's something I pulled out of my pile. I thought the swirl looked like a pigs tail, which is why I chose it!
